Upon concluding my research with Dr. Yu-Chong Tai and a successful thesis defense, I received my Ph.D. from Caltech for advanced studies in Electrical Engineering specializing in investigations of through-wafer 3-D microcmachining techniques in June of 1999. As the publications list below indicates, the technologies that I pursued were applied to a number of different devices with applications ranging from biotechnology to space craft instrumentation.
