·         Successful in achieving specific binding of surface modified nanoparticles to tagged biological molecules

·         Successful in developing immunoassay using nanoparticles to discriminate rabbit antibodies from goat and mouse antibodies

·         UC Berkeley – Jay Groves Laboratory, Principle Investigator:  Dr. Jay Groves  

·         Project:  Introduce microcontact printing technology for use by laboratory team members

·         Successful in printing micropatterns of fluid lipid bilayers hovering over glass slides

·         Became proficient with microfabrication techniques to produce polymeric PDMS stamps with micron-scale topography

·          Designed and implemented experiments to determine intensity resolution of a fluorescence microscope
